TVC Spot

“Making A Way Everywhere You Can In Good Times.”

Narrated by fashion designer and entrepreneur Dapper Dan, through archival footage of black-owned businesses throughout the US in Harlem, Oklahoma, and pictures of Dapper Dan and business entrepreneur Pinky Cole from Slutty Vegan. In this spot, Dapper Dan introduces a story of what it means to reach the American dream as a black entrepreneur in America. Where despite the dollar only circulating for only  6 hours within the black community, there are good times that remind the black community they always make a way through perseverance.  From his journey to becoming one of the most influential designers and business owners coming out of Harlem. From how a black woman from Baltimore turned a vegan food truck business worth 10k to 100 million with a name like Slutty Vegan with locations across the U.S. The black community shall overcome and look toward these tough beautiful good times.

We Love Us Activation.

Set at the Essence Festival, Visa has an activation area in the shape of a Juke Joint where business owners who operate at brick-and-mortar establishments can enter the opportunity to get financial support and mentorship in today’s ecom first economy. Users enter the opportunity by scanning a QR code on the back of a Visa Credit card where they can fill out the questionnaire about who they are, their business, and why they need mentorship and support. Once they finish and submit their questionnaire they will have to swipe at the checkout station to receive their confirmation with a printed receipt with their number and the contest winners will be announced.
